Alex joined Purcell in 2011 as a Part 1 student, having studied at the University of Bath and Technical University of Munich.
Joining Purcell provided Alex with an opportunity to develop his technical understanding as part of a small team and take on more responsibility as he completed his architectural training. He is currently involved in running a number of projects at Canterbury Cathedral, including the conservation of the Great South Window and the repairs of the North West Transept. Alex also works on various residential and church projects which give him the opportunity to hone his design and presentation skills.
Alex is currently working towards his conservation accreditation which he hopes to gain by the end of 2016. When not in the office, Alex can usually be found on the river Medway where he is captain of Maidstone rowing club.
