Conservation

Purcell’s team of chartered surveyors and architects offer specialist services for surveying the condition of historic buildings, including building condition surveys, defect analysis, surveys of historic buildings at risk, and grant-related surveys and advice. These can either be provided as a stand-alone service or as part of a larger multi-disciplinary project.

Our survey reports are always tailored to the specific requirements and expectations of the client and are presented in a format that makes them accessible and easy to use.

Our most important asset is the experience and knowledge of our team of conservation-accredited architects and chartered building surveyors. This ensures that we interpret building condition and defects as reliably as possible.

At the outset of any project, we will confirm with the client the scope of the survey and what data needs to be collected – for example the type of cost information required and whether any specialist surveys are needed. We often collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure that the client receives an integrated assessment.
