Senior or Associate Architect
We are expanding our team and are looking for a delivery Architect at either Senior or Associate level to join our Manchester Town Hall project team. This role offers the opportunity to work on one of the most iconic landmarks in the city that is highly regarded as one of the finest examples of Neo-Gothic architecture in the United Kingdom.
This role is site based for a minimum of 4 days per week.

We are keen to talk to architects at Senior or Associate level with excellent design and presentation skills, as well as enthusiasm for high quality work, and with experience in working with historic and listed buildings. We are looking for someone who is well-organised and has experience delivering work packages on site, with excellent technical and construction knowledge.
As the project is into the construction stage you will use your experience to prioritise hands on technical delivery and also look to support and to provide assistance to other team members

As an excellent communicator, you will represent the organization in a leadership role to primary clients, key public officials, and sub consultants.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years post qualification experience
- Experience in project delivery and management
- Have excellent design, technical and conservation skills and experience
- Have a strong understanding of the UK Building and Planning regulations
- Proven experience working on all RIBA stages
- Demonstrate good client-facing communication skills
- AABC or RIBA SCA/ CA accreditation desirable
- Proficiency in BIM/ Revit an advantage.
- Be well organised, proactive and enthusiastic approach to work and projects
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
- Leadership experience managing a small to medium sized team
- Experience of taking responsibility for the financial success of projects, and strong commercial awareness
