Nick Chantarasak

Associate, BA(Hons) BArch PGDip

Nick first joined Purcell as a Part 1 assistant in the Bristol Studio, where he worked on the Tudor House Museum and helped design the extension to St Fagans National Museum of Wales. 

Following that, he moved to the London studio where he completed a number of high-end residential jobs, as well as continuing to work within the cultural sector on projects for clients such as the National Gallery, Somerset House, De La Warr Pavilion, and the Brunel Museum. 

He recently led on and completed a large refurbishment project for the Peter Jones department store in Sloane Square as well as the National Portrait Gallery’s Inspiring People Project, which reopened in summer 2023. 

Nick enjoys collaborating with other architectural practices on his projects, most recently working with Jamie Forbert, Sergisson Bates, and Tate +Co. 

He is the group lead for the Architectural Design support group for Purcell and runs the annual Purcell Design Programme. He is also a key member of the Purcell Modern Group.
