Lorna Crane

Lorna leads Purcell's Edinburgh studio, having started in Purcell’s Canterbury studio in 2005, then moving to join the London team. Lorna combines a creative approach to design with the day-to-day practical side of the job. Since joining the practice, she has gained a good knowledge of the principles and techniques governing the repair and alteration of historic structures, working on a variety of challenging projects.

Lorna's expertise lies in her strong experience working collaboratively within multi-disciplinary design teams; her ability to balance aesthetic and pragmatic considerations to provide solutions; and her commitment to achieving sustainability in design and construction
