Joshua Spitter

Architectural Assistant, BA(Hons)

Joshua studied for his Architecture degree at the University for the Creative Arts. Based at our London studio and previously our Colchester studio, he has worked on the redevelopment of sites for a local borough council and assisting with the development of a masterplan for a planning submission.

He is particularly interested in historic architecture, modern interventions in sensitive settings as well as ecodesign. Joshua is skilled at drawing, both by hand and digitally. He enjoys conceptualising design, creatively solving any issues and following projects through each stage.

His final year project was based in Copenhagen, Denmark and was called ‘Generational Care’. The project would accommodate various programmes for each generation and create a new fertility facility. The project included the challenge of incorporating an existing building into the grand scheme of the project and design.
