Jamie Coath

Jamie is the Technical and Conservation Advisor for the practice, assisting studios with project delivery and advising on projects nationwide. His technical expertise in conservation includes stonework and other issues such as paint analysis.

Jamie’s specialist expertise lies in taking conservation projects with initial potential for the Heritage Lottery Funding (HLF) and building them into viable schemes. He has experience working with key statutory bodies and the heritage lobby. Jamie is an advisor to both the Heritage Lottery Fund and English Heritage.

As an expert at synthesising many different uses and requirements for a particular building, he is adept at winning acceptance for a scheme from all parties.

He is currently working on the Our Town Hall project in Manchester. His other key projects include St George's Hall and the Florence Institute, both in Liverpool.
