Craig joined our Colchester team after a work experience placement in October 2007.
He has had the opportunity to work on a wide selection of projects since joining the practice, including the conservation of Saffron Walden Castle, the first project in East Anglia to receive a soft wall capping. He has also successfully completed a project at St Michael’s Church in Braintree, which won a DAC Conservation Award, the design of a new home within an area of outstanding natural beauty and the remodelling of a local primary school.
Craig is particularly interested in the use of historic materials, and the link between conservation and sustainability. He received an award from The Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists (CIAT) for ‘Best Final Comprehensive Design Project’ at Anglia Ruskin University, where he studied for a degree in Architectural Technology.
