Purcell ranked No 1 for heritage in the WA100 list for third year running

19 January 2024

We are delighted to maintain our place at the top of Building Design’s World Architecture 100 ‘Heritage Sector’ list for the third consecutive year.

Retaining the top spot reflects Purcell’s position internationally as the largest team of expert heritage and conservation architects. We are thrilled to be starting 2024 on this positive note. As a forward-thinking, progressive practice, decarbonisation and social value are at the heart of our projects. We bring to every project our knowledge and experience of traditional materials and techniques, combined with innovative research and technology, to be at the forefront of sustainable retrofit, conservation and adaptation. Our work spans buildings across the globe of all scales, from ancient monuments to 20th century Modernist icons. Our new architecture is defined by quality of design, materials and delivery, resulting in an enduring timelessness.

We strongly believe that successful projects evolve out of a collaborative process with our clients and the communities they serve. We are committed to ensuring that heritage has a future that is relevant and accessible for everyone, everywhere.

A huge thank you to all our staff and Employee Owners, whose hard work, talent, and enthusiasm allow us to provide world-leading heritage and conservation architecture services, as well as to our clients and collaborators for continuing to support and work with us.
