Purcell Celebrates Success at Practice Day Out

11 July 2019

Last Friday, over 200 Purcell employees gathered at Stowe House for the annual Practice Day Out. Each year, staff from all studios come together to celebrate each other’s successes and recognise Purcell’s excellent projects.

CEO Mark Goldspink kicked off the day with an opening speech, evaluating the past year at Purcell. The rest of the day consisted of various activities including Mindfulness, Architectural Sketching and tours of the house and gardens. The picturesque location of Stowe was made all the more special by the fact that Purcell has been part of on an ambitious phased programme of repair and restoration there since 1999.

The afternoon saw Purcell’s annual internal awards ceremony take place, recognising the achievements of staff and outstanding projects.

The good weather, beautiful surroundings of Stowe and a well-planned schedule of events made for a brilliant day. It was a great chance to give our people a day to enjoy: our talented employees make our work on incredible architectural projects happen. From heritage consultants, bid coordinators and administrative assistants, to technicians and architects, we work together to reach our goal to create better places for tomorrow.
