Healthcare and wellbeing

From developing community facilities to redeveloping hospitals and health centres, the architecture for our healthcare clients is thought of sensitively and prioritises the wellbeing of the people that reside and work within them.

Well-designed environments are proven to influence wellbeing. Designing the right buildings for healthcare facilities is vital in enabling a patient’s health, recovery, and wellness.

From designing space to fit a patient’s needs, right through to improving the functional abilities for institutions, staff and visitors, we design buildings which benefit the people that use them.

We excel in creating buildings that heal. We use our diverse experience in both public and private health care providers to develop innovative schemes for primary, secondary and complementary health care, in addition to specialist spaces for mental health and cancer care.

We have a strong understanding of what users need in their environment to not only support their physical requirements but also emotional needs — we design places that are a home from home. We take pride in fostering excellent relationships with clients and always consider their wealth of knowledge and expertise that they bring to the partnerships we forge.

We’ve helped design and deliver many workplaces, education, elderly care and housing schemes — we’re constantly reviewing accessibility, amenities and support for diverse bodies of people.

Our skills in reimagining existing buildings is particularly relevant as many health and wellbeing facilities involve an element of existing premises. We bring the confidence back into these spaces, and design buildings that benefit all.
