Regeneration of one of the most important early 19th century cemeteries in Britain. Our studies to identified future uses for the cemetery and its five listed buildings, and following a substantial HLF grant, we led a comprehensive programme of repairs, adaptations, landscaping and infrastructure improvements.
To fulfil the client’s brief to rejuvenate the hotel, we undertook internal reordering works to make the guest suites light and contemporary, and enlivened the building’s public spaces. Its exterior was also remodelled, incorporating a dramatic nine-storey living wall.
