Since joining Purcell Sam has predominantly worked within the higher education sector, delivering key projects for historic colleges in Oxford. He has a range of design experience, including developing schemes within the aviation, commercial and education sector. Sam particularly enjoys creating architectural strategies and concepts, having previously gained experience leading multi-disciplinary teams for large commercial projects
Sam studied at The Bartlett School of Architecture, where he received a distinction for his Masters project on digital stone design. His academic work led to a professional specialism in advanced computational design and digital fabrication, where he has worked as a specialist on award-winning projects by renowned UK and international architects.
