Nora Herbert

Nora joined Purcell in 2023 after completing her Part II Master's of Applied Design in Architecture at Oxford Brookes University. She is passionate about working with historic buildings and has experience with multiple conservation projects.

During her final semester of her Part I course, she worked on the renovation and retrofit of a Neo-Baroque villa in Budapest. She has a keen interest in architectural history theory, and during her studies produced a Research Design Dissertation on Music in Architecture, adding a sensitive new design to Christ Church College in Oxford.

Her favourite parts of the design process are research, building surveys, and visualization. In her free time, she enjoys reading, writing, sketching, and creating watercolour paintings of people and historic buildings.
