Hettie Dix

Hettie is a heritage consultant with a diverse portfolio of projects and particular expertise in the further education and cultural sectors. She is adept at aligning with design teams at the earliest concept design stage, guiding the sensitive development of proposals to best enhance significant built fabric and the wider historic environment.  

Hettie has also worked with a number of clients on the strategic conservation management of complex sites, museum collections and artefacts, and regularly collaborates with a variety of specialist disciplines to approach heritage sensitivities holistically and pragmatically.  

Hettie joined Purcell as a researcher in 2012 and now leads the heritage consultancy in the west region. She is a member of West Berkshire local list selection panel and accredited with the Institute for Historic Buildings Conservation and Chartered Institute for Archaeologists.
