Gemma Thompson

Gemma’s studies at Newcastle and Kingston Universities have informed her strong interest in architecture which builds on community identity within a historical and cultural context.

At Purcell, Gemma has worked on a wide range of architectural and conservation projects, including significant listed buildings such as The National Gallery and Scheduled Ancient Monuments. She enjoys working collaboratively within her team and with clients.

Throughout her studies Gemma took part in collective live build projects, exhibiting at the Barbican, V&A Museum and Hampton Court Palace; the most recent of which was nominated for a RIBA Silver Presidents Medal.
