Associate
We are looking for an Architect as Associate level to join our Manchester Town Hall project team. Manchester Town Hall (1868-77) in Albert Square is one of the most iconic landmarks in the city. It is regarded as one of the finest examples of Neo-Gothic architecture in the United Kingdom and is one of the most important Grade One listed buildings in England. The Town Hall is a Grade I listed building – meaning that it is considered to be of exceptional architectural interest and national importance. Only 2.5 per cent of England's listed buildings are classified as Grade I.

We are looking for someone who is well-organised and has experience managing and delivering work packages on site, with excellent technical and construction knowledge.
We are looking for candidates who have the following skills:
- 15 years’ experience post qualified
- Have excellent design, technical and conservation skills and experience
- Have a strong understanding of the UK Building and Planning regulations
- Proven experience working on all RIBA stages
- Demonstrate good client-facing communication skills
- AABC or RIBA SCA/ CA accreditation desirable
- Proficiency in BIM/ Revit an advantage.
- Project management experience
- Be well organised, proactive and enthusiastic approach to work and projects
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
- Leadership experience managing a small to medium sized studio, business or team
- Experience of taking responsibility for the financial success of projects, and strong commercial awareness
- Strong experience in business development and work winning, including bidding experience
