Purcell shortlisted for AJ100 Collaboration Award with Jamie Fobert Architects for National Portrait Gallery

Our collaboration with Jamie Fobert Architects for the National Portrait Gallery project is a finalist in the AJ100 Collaboration of the Year awards, to be announced 13th June in the Tower of London.

Following an international selection process, the National Portrait Gallery has appointed the team of Jamie Fobert Architects & Purcell to lead its £35.5m building project, ‘Inspiring People: Transforming our National Portrait Gallery’. Our work will increase public and gallery spaces, enhance the gallery’s entrance and create a much improved learning centre. For the first time in the gallery’s history there will be a comprehensive re-display of the collection across all the galleries, accompanied by an extensive programme of activities nationwide.
