We are delighted to announce that Purcell has been awarded the 'Best International Share Plan' at the Employee Ownership Australia Awards 2020/21.
Planning consent has been granted by London Borough of Tower Hamlets for a two-storey rooftop extension to the Main Library at Queen Mary University of London.
A series of Purcell projects have been recognised in the 2021 Planning awards, each of which celebrates our commitment to understanding context and collaboration with social planning authorities and planning consultants.
Employee-ownership is a celebration of our multidisciplinary team who have been instrumental to our growth and is a commitment to the next phase in our business’s development and success. Here, we reflect on Purcell’s culture that has been built on 70 years of operation, and celebrate our collaborative approach across the regions; from Melbourne to Norwich, and Hong Kong to Oxford.
Our development to EO has been built by years of phenomenal team members, including the leaders throughout our history who have shaped Purcell’s culture into the successful practice we are today. In light of our new journey, here we thank the individuals who have defined our ethos, culture and led to our success.
As we transition to an employee-owned business, we reflect on a number of projects — both old and new — from our beginnings at Ely Cathedral, through to Kresen Kernow. These projects demonstrate the values that Purcell has had from its beginning; sensitively adapting spaces with social and environmental sustainability at the core.
