Our Regional Partner Nicola Hewes will be discussing everything 20th Century campus architecture and Post-War Educational Heritage on the main stage at Education Estates in Manchester this week.

Hilda Besse, St Antony's College, Oxford

Drawing from Purcell’s longstanding expertise and experience within both the educational sector and 20th Century heritage, Nicola will be dissecting the potential value and functionality within the often innovative, yet now unfit-for-purpose educational campuses of the 1960s and 1970s.

Graduate Centre, St Catherine's College, Oxford

The discussion will examine how Purcell have worked through the challenges such structures poise to find opportunities – not liabilities – in our approach, evidenced through our work on successful projects such as St Catherine's College and St Antony's College in Oxford, Churchill College in Cambridge, and the Lasdun Teaching Wall at UEA.

A key event in Purcell’s annual calendar, we are excited to attend Education Estates. Several members of our expert team will be present at stand B11 across both days of the conference and will be on hand to discuss the best examples of our education sector projects with fellow industry leaders as well as the educational and public sector workforce.
