CEO Mark Goldspink discusses Purcell on MHA Larking Gowen podcast

3 February 2021

MHA Larking Gowen, chartered accountants and business advisors, recently launched their new podcast series Business Insights Chat, where the team interview successful business owners and leaders from a variety of sectors throughout Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex. Each week, special guests share their views, insights and experience in business during the COVID-19 pandemic, and discuss what drives them, their experiences, and what they are looking forward to.

In their latest episode, Purcell CEO Mark Goldspink joins MHA Larking Gowen Partner Ian Fitch, and discusses the roots of our practice in East Anglia, and how we’re looking forward to becoming an employee-owned business this year — a three-year process in the making! Mark considers our flagship projects across the United Kingdom, Hong Kong and Australia including Elizabeth Tower, Windsor Castle and Tai Twun Centre for the Arts, while discussing how our team’s achievements this year have outweighed the challenges.

Mark also explores his own journey through Purcell, having joined the practice as an architectural student in 1989, rising to become the CEO and Equity Partner ten years later. As a CEO, Mark most enjoys seeing others grow in confidence and competence, and achieving their goals and successes. Mark attunes his success to his open-door policy, and listening to new ideas, while investing in leadership developments.
