An update for our clients and partners on COVID-19

24 March 2020

In response to the situation surrounding COVID-19, Purcell has taken the decision to temporarily implement updates to our working practices.

We continue to be fully operational, adopting a remote working solution. The safety and well-being of our people, our clients and the communities we serve is of the utmost importance.

As of 24 March, the majority of our staff are working remotely, with only a small proportion choosing to use their local studio as this offers a much better and appropriate environment in which to operate.

Our temporary changes have been implemented to mitigate the spread of the virus by applying a level of social distancing which will better enable us to continue to provide the service that our clients expect of us during this period.

All of our technical staff have full remote working capability and access to Purcell systems. We have encouraged the use of collaboration at meetings via conference calls or software applications. Where required we will look to continue to maintain site visits, however, we do require the site to be set up to adhere to Government guidelines following the strict 2m rule, use of own PPE, and access to regular hand-washing facilities. If working practices and conditions are deemed non-compliant, we have instructed our staff to advise clients and the contractor that they will be leaving the site immediately.

Our main Board continue to monitor developments on a daily basis and abide by advice from the government and the World Health Organisation in order to ensure we are maintaining a safe environment.

We will keep you updated on our approach to the situation and how we are maintaining business continuity and service levels throughout.

These are unprecedented times, but helping you overcome challenges to your projects is what we do best. We remain dedicated to working alongside you to navigate the challenges ahead.

If you have any queries regarding your projects, please do get in touch with any member of the Purcell team you are working alongside.

Best Regards,

Mark Goldspink, Partner & CEO
