Protection and Progress in London’s Square Mile

4 June 2021

The City of London is one of the most dynamic and rapidly changing urban centres in the world.

It is also a contentious battleground for the protection and care of architecture from recent past; Post-war and Post-Modern buildings jostling for prominence within the city’s architectural heritage.

Register to join our in house 20 century experts Jon Wright and David Hills on Saturday 19 June as they explore how progress and care for our built environment operate side by side.

The walking tour of London’s Square Mile will begin at Bank Station and end at Liverpool Street, running from 10am — 12:30pm

Limited tickets can be secured via this link. Any donations go to ‘Action on Empty Homes', Purcell’s 2021 charity, dedicated to bringing empty homes across the UK into use for people in housing need.
