Chris is inspired by the great buildings of the past. He is equally passionate about bold contemporary design and believes in timeless, sustainable solutions. Pursuing these dual interests, Chris has acquired a broad spectrum of expertise. He has led projects encompassing the design and construction of new buildings, the creative adaptation of historic buildings, and the care and repair of listed buildings.

Chris’ key skill is his ability to take a strategic overview of a complex site and to devise an imaginative solution. This expertise is evident at the recently completed development in the precincts of Wells Cathedral and in his studies for the rationalization of space for the precincts of Canterbury Cathedral.
