We’re delighted to have won two AJ100 Practice of the Year awards for the North West & North East and Yorkshire regions and to have maintained our position as the 18th largest practice in the UK for the second year in a row.
This follows a RICS South East Building Conservation Award and RICS South East Project of the Year Award for Tudor House Museum in Southampton and our recent Europa Nostra award for the meticulous restoration of Leighton House Museum in London. The practice has also been shortlisted for the RIBA London Awards for work at the National Maritime Museum.
Izaak Hudson, Project Architect for Tudor House Museum, said "We are delighted to have won the RICS Southeast Region’s Conservation Award and Project of the Year Award for Tudor House Museum in Southampton. The project represents many years hard work for the design team and the contractor for both construction phases, Linford.
We were supported and encouraged throughout by the enthusiasm and dedication of our client, the Major Projects Team of Southampton City Council, and would particularly like to thank Tina Dyer-Slade and Dan Matthews for their commitment to delivering the project. We would also like to acknowledge the support of the project’s main funders; The Heritage Lottery Fund, Southampton City Council, English Heritage and the Friends of Southampton’s Museums, Archives and Galleries."
